TLC Clinic Mobile Medical Unit FAQ

What medical services do you provide? Urine Pregnancy test. Limited OB ultrasound. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea test. HIV and Hepatitis C testing.

Do I have to pay for services? All services are provided at no cost to you.

Do I have to schedule an appointment? No. Walk-ins are welcome for STD and pregnancy testing, but it is strongly suggested that you call to schedule an ultrasound to assure that we can accommodate you that day. Please drink a bottle of water an hour before your scheduled time so that you have a full bladder for your ultrasound.

Can I schedule an ultrasound to determine the sex of my baby? No. Ultrasounds are only performed to verify your pregnancy. What do I need to bring with me? You MUST bring a valid photo ID.

Can I bring anyone with me to my ultrasound? Yes, we encourage you to bring the father of the baby and anyone who you wish to be with you during your ultrasound.

Will my information be shared with anyone? No, not without your written permission. Your information will remain confidential. However, as per Pennsylvania law, positive STD test results must be reported to the PA Department of Health.

If I am pregnant, does TLC Clinic provide ongoing prenatal care? No. We will help you with referrals to physicians in your community. Does TLC Clinic provide referrals for abortions or perform abortions? No.
